GOOD LUCK AFSOO | LADY TULIP

Dear Afsoo,

Allah is the greatest and the ultimate provider. Sometimes, He takes certain things away from our lives only to make room for opportunities we could not yet see.

It is, of course, much easier said than believed.

But perhaps that is where the beauty lies. In finding the courage to trust that His plan is always better than the one we had written for ourselves.

As you begin this new chapter, we simply want to wish you good luck.

Good luck on continuing to show up for yourself. Good luck with all the new firsts that come with a new workplace. The first morning, the first desk, the first familiar face, the first inside joke. Good luck with new friendships, new routines, and all the small things that will slowly begin to feel like home.

So blind, I couldn't quite find the camera.

And somewhere along the way, our prayer is that you will always find a little space in your memories, old and new, for the colleagues you have left behind.

Because sometimes, a farewell does not quite end with the office memento.

Sometimes, it deserves an encore.

Ours looked like one of the coziest little evenings, karaoke first, singing our hearts out with very little concern for whether any of us were actually in tune.

Then, a slower ending to the night with paintbrushes in hand, good food on the table, and the warmth of one of the coziest restaurants around us.

Just a few people choosing to stretch a goodbye a little longer.

May what comes next be bigger, and better than what you leave behind.
